Centralised list of contacts

H

Henro

hello there,

I have a question regarding Outlook/Exchange

Is it possible to create a centralised list of contacts that are
available to everybody?

I would like to have some business contacts centralised, as well as
all the contactinfo of the people working in my company (about 20)

Ideally these would be displayed in one list with my own (private)
contacts, so that fe when synchronising my contacts with my smartphone/
PDA I have one extensive list of contacts that is composed of my
personal contacts as well as the 'centralised' contacts.

I do find information about sharing contactfolders but that is not
what I want. I would like to have some contacts on the Exchange server
that will show up automatically in everybodies contactlist.

Can anyone point me in a direction how to accomplish these goals?

TIA Henro

Well, you'd either create a Public Folder of type Contacts
(http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/MF018.html) or create the Contacts as
Mail Enabled Contacts (iirc) entries in the GAL.
