Challenge: outlook connected to exchange server but not transmitt

I'll be extremely happy if someone can help solve this problem.

I am using Outlook 03 to connect to a 2000 exchange server at a different
location through a site-to-site VPN.

It was working wonderfully for a long time, then one day, it stopped working.

Outlook says its connected to the server, but refuses to download or upload
anything, so I can't see my email.

Here's the tricky part. All the other computers here are in the same
configuration (outlook 2003 to connect to the same 2000 exchange server over
a site-to-site VPN) and mine is the only one not working. Wait - gets more
tricky. When I don't go through the site-to-site VPN, (so I'm on location
with the exchange server) - Outlook works fine.

It also works fine with the other profiles I have set up through outlook.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled outlook many times now. I have
'repaired' outlook. I have rebooted the exchange server (it sees me trying
to come in and out by the way).
I have rebooted the switches. I have changed network cables, offices,
everything i can think of.

I have no idea what to try next. Any ideas?
