Challenge/Response NTLM problem

Cannot open FrontPage from a web page; using FP2000 on
WinXP Pro PC. The login screen appears; after typing in
username and pwd the login screen reappears...again and
again. (I'm using the correct usrnm & pwd 'cause it works
on another PC.) BTW:this PC has a newly installed
harddrive on it, so I may have some configuration issues
(which I don't know how to fix). MSKB suggested
downloading SP2 for MSOffice 2000, which I did, but
without success.

Any suggestions??

Tom: I did as requested. The login screen came up -
entered usrnm and pswd, but login screen back...again
and again. But the prompt worked: it did want to load up
the domain. Further suggestions???

Did as instructed: does not open the web page while in
FP. The login screen came up; put in usrnm and pswd; but
it just returned again and again. However, the path did
bring up the domain. Any further suggestions???

Have you looked at

Note this can sometimes cause other FP web folder related problems
