Change a date in multiple files at the same time

How do I change a date throughout multiple files in Office.

I have created several forms, in excel and word and publisher, that have a
date for a meeting...I would like to change the date in one file and have the
change reflected in all of the files at the same time. I guess the date
would be linked, but how would I link them???

That would only happen IF and ONLY IF all the files were linked to one
master file. Unless you did that linking, you will need to fix it in
each file as you open them yourself.
