Is there a function that will convert words to sentence case?

an example in A1 I have NEW YORK. I want to include A1 in a CONCATENATE
function but I want displayed "New York" - can it be done?

Thanks

John,

=PROPER(A1)

CONCATENATE is superfluous as well, just use =A1&B1&...

Thanks guys, this Excel is amazing, if you think it can be done - it can,
just pity that the Help on the application wasn't as "heplful"

I don't know where you're looking, but try going to: Insert>Function .. then
look for functions that deal with Text, and you'll find it in there along
with a bevy of other helpful things.

Technically that is "Proper" case, not "Sentence" case.

Sentence case Uppers the first word only of a string of words.

But the OP asked to convert NEW YORK to New York, so although they said
sentence case, they meant Proper case, so Auk was correct in his response.

Nowhere in my post does it imply that Auk was incorrect with his response.

Simply pointing out to the OP(see "John" salutation) the difference in cases.
