Change date in header

Karen

Hello All,

I am using wind XP and office 11. I want to replace the date field in header.
The date field is autodated, and I want to replace it with last modDate.
I can replace the autodate in the document body. but I couldn't do it in the
header.
Can anybody help?

Thanks
Karen

Hi Karen,

you don't need vba for this. Simply select the date field and press Shift-F9
to reveal the field code. Then change 'DATE' to 'SAVEDATE' and press F9 to
update. You can also use 'CREATEDATE' or 'PRINTDATE', depending on what you
want to achieve.

Cheers
