Change Display Type in Gantt Charts

John

My client is requesting I show my project schedule in a Gantt Chart format
that will show the project years as "Year 1", "Year 2", etc. and the months
as "Month 0", "Month 1", etc. As you know, Visio wants the project start and
end dates so it can provide the correct timeline. I checked the Date Options
when I'm in a Gantt Chart, but I can't see any way to make this happen. Any
thoughts on whether or not you can actually do what I'm trying to accomplish
and if so, how?

I've had a look at this and whatever I try to do the Gantt chart addon
changes it back to what it wants to show.
So, I don't think you can do this.

If you're creating your chart in Project, I seem to remember it having that
functionality.

Paul,

Thanks for confirming what I had expected. Time to move it into MS Project.

Al,

Thanks for your advice. I will check out Project to see if it provides me
with that capability.
