we use text 30 for work week, now for some reason we cannot use text30,
instead we have to use text12

The issue is, users may use our olad macros and they have value in text30.
now, if they open their saved MS project files, and use our new macros, there
are 2 work week fields. Is it possible to delete the old one and use new one
instead??

how can we preserve value in text30, and use text12 for text30? and Do we
have to copy value in text30 to text12?

Copy the value in text 30, paste into text 12
Change your macro to point to text 12.
Distribute your macro to everyone.

You may want to create a centrally located file that contains macros and the
correct field structure. If users have buttons referring to the macro in the
centrally located file, then you are in control of the macro the use. When
you start moving data from one field to another you will end up with the
problem I have posted under the name Glue Viewer...
