Change First Page Number

Can anyone give me an example of why I would want to change the first page number? I'm looking for a reason to give when a student asks me that question. I can come up with answers for other programs like Word or PowerPoint, but can't seem to think of an occassion for Excel

What about if your excel spreadsheet was part o a larger document, say the
first 3 pages were word document, then you could set the staring apge number
in XL to 4 and it would bind in a logical numbering sequence
