change in actual dates updates the estimated dates too pls help

Hi there
I am workin on a project plan in microsoft project. I have actual
start and finish dates and estimated start and finish dates. Now if i
make changes to the actual start and finish dates for any tasks then
it automatically makes those changes in estimated dates too. for
example the estimated date for task 1 is 01/30/07. now if i input the
actual date for the same task as 02/02/07 07en it automatically
changes the estimated date from 01/30/07 to 02/02/07 which it shouldnt
in ideal case. Can someone please reply asap...it will be a great
help..
