Change in duration in PWA and in MSProject - Please Help

Hello all,
What I am facing looks a weird problem to me.
I have a project plan whose duration is 200 days. When I
load the Project in Project Server and I have a look at
it in Project Web Access ( Project Center 0, the duration
of days reduces while everything else remains the same.
When I open the same project from PWA in MS Project
Application, I again see the duration as 200 days.

What could be the problem.
Please help.

What are the total work hours as shown in the project plan when open in
Project Pro? What does the duration change to when you view it in PWA?

Hi Gary,
When I open in Project Pro, the duration is 335 days and
when I view in PWA the duration is 272.1 days.
What could be the problem?

What are your working times set to in Project Proj? 7 hour days, 8 hour
days?

Its an 8 hour day but my base calendar is 24 hours?Does
that matter.
I have matched both the calendars.
This is really tricky...Please help.
