Change notificaiton email format slightly

Our projects look like:

Build new screen
Coding
Unit Testing
Peer testing

where the indented items are subtasks (Coding, Unit testing, Peer testing).

On the email notification my staff is getting: Task "Coding" is due(overdue,
etc). Is there a way to have it show the group the task belongs to?

If your original message contains the literal names of tasks and summary
tasks in your project, then I would strongly suggest that you use a more
descriptive naming convention than you are presently using. Under the Build
new screen summary task, your tasks could be named something like Write new
screen code, Perform new screen unit testing, Conduct new screen peer
testing, etc. These more descriptive task names would help your team
members tremendously.

If you want to customize the outgoing e-mail messages, the only
customization info I could find currently is for Project Server 2002, but
perhaps it will give you the basics to do so in Project Server 2003:

Hope this helps.

At the summary level we publish at it is not possible to get more
descriptive. Many of these tasks start out at a high level during the
Requirements phase and then get more detailed at the design level.

I will look at the link. Thanks for the help.
