Change size of scroll bar

After changing the entries on a spreadsheet, the scroll bar is miniscule for
the number of entries. My question is, how can I reset the
scroll bar on the side of the worksheet. As you can
imagine the data is much smaller at the beginning of the
year than at the end and the scroll button is small
(reflecting the old data size) so I have to basically hunt
for the end of the data with the scroll button when I want
to sort/subtotal things.

Saving the file will reset the size of the "thumb."

I thought that thingy was called the "elevator" (for even the horizontal
scrollbar)! <vbg>
