change specifications for importing data

Trying to change specifications for bringing external data into a database in
Access. Once the specs are saved, it doesn't want to allow me to edit it. Any
suggestions?

Hi.

One can edit previously saved import specifications by using the Import Text
Wizard. Attempt to import the data again and when the Import Text Wizard
opens, select the "Advanced" button to open the Import Specification dialog
window. Select the "Specs..." button to open the Import/Export
Specifications dialog window. Select the name of the previously saved
import specification and select the "OK" button.

In the Import Specification dialog window, the specifications have populated
the choices available. Make whatever changes are necessary and save these
changes by selecting the "Save As..." button. The specification name can
remain the same, or one can change the name to a new specification if the
original specification is still needed. Select the "OK" button to save the
changes. Select the "OK" button in the Import Specification dialog window
to return to the Import Text Wizard to either continue importing the data or
select the "Cancel" button to prevent importing the data into the table.
