Change the resource

Hi All,
Some of my Resources have left organisation. How to allocate his pending
activities to other person in quick manner.

Hello Mameet,

Select the tasks of that resource, open the Assign Resource dialog, and
click the Replace button.
All the Actual Work of the old resource will be preserved. All the remaining
work will be assigned to the new resource.

Hi Gerard,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
I have tried what ever you said but it gives me problems in case my
resources have some actuals reported.
It adds one more resource to the same task and does not replace it.
And if i delete the old resource my task gets delayed.
Kindly suggest what to do

Perform the steps that Gerard proposes, and this will transfer the Remaining
Work from those tasks to the new resource(s). Then delete the resource who
left your organization in PWA using Clean Up Project Server Database. This
process will convert the departing resource into a local resource in every
project. Hope this helps.
