Change time of recurring meeting that started last year

When attempting to change the time of a recurring meeting that I originally
scheduled last year, I am unable to scroll to the right and see people's
availability for this year. Is there a setting I can change?

I know the official advice is to delete and recreate the meeting, but I like
having a calendar record of past meetings and feel that I clutter people's
inboxes less if I just update existing invitations. Any ideas?
