Change Visio default setting of Line Pattern from Round to Square

I want to change the Visio default setting for the Line Pattern option to
Square. The default is Round, and I have to click and change all my line
patterns when I draw a line, a free-hand shape, or drag a call-out or
dimensioning item onto my Visio drawing. This is labor intensive, as I do
engineering type drawings and need to use the Square line patterns rather
than the Round ones.

It would be fantastic to have the default changed to Square on Line Patterns.

Hi HG,

You should be able to edit the "Normal" style for a blank document or
whichever type of document you use most. Then save that off as your own
template to start from.

If you're using Visio 2007 or later, you need to tweak in order to see the
Format > Define Styles menu item.
