Change where attachments go?

For years, when I attached a image file to an email, it would appear
as an added line in the header. Yesterday, wham-bang, it appeared in
the message text where the cursor was.

I know I'm always futzing with the settings, but I never changed
anything to do with the attachments--I swear.

Anyone know how to change where attachments appear?

I'm running WinXP Pro and Office XP Pro.

Thanks

Mike

When you compose a message in Rich Text format (a format only other Outlook
or Eudora users can read), attachments are shown in the body of the message.
If you compose in Plain Text or HTML, your attachments will show in a
separate area either below the subject and above the body or below the body,
depending on your Outlook version.
