Changed Enterprise Global

Dear All

Once we open Enterprise Global and just click on any view like Resource Sheet and do no changes but just save it then also whenever we open any project in proj prof is gives a dialogue to either "rename, replace or cancel". Is their a way to revert this or roll back (assuming there is no backup of enterprise global)

Also, what happens if we rename it

Hi

If you view some of the basic views when having the Enterprise Global open,
do the following to the Enterprise Global:
Tools > Organizer > views
From the list, delete the views that are causing trouble. This should fix
it.

If you rename the view, you'll get more views, which is (probably) not what
you want.

Thanks for the info. enterprise global had gantt chart and resource sheet under checked out views, should i delete both to get back the original enterprise global

Hi

Well, start with making a backup of your Enterprise global [tools >
enterprise options] :)
Then delete the views that are causing the trouble, and see if it works! I
don't remember exactly, and I haven't got the server in front of me...

You might as well look at the Table tab of the Organizer. You might have to
delete Entry from there as well.

Do not delete the Enterprise Gantt Chart view, as this is an enterprise
view. Only delete nonenterprise Views, such as the Resource Sheet view, and
its related table, the resource Entry table. Hope this helps.
