Changed SSP service credentials, now cannot access PWA site

I was trying to change the SSP service to run in something other than NT
Authority\Network service and when i did the PWA site went down - "Unexpected
error." I have changed the SSP Service credentials back to the above but the
site will not come back up.

What can I do - assuming I do actually want to get SSP and project to run
under a different account.

Failing that, can i create a new home site and link to my projects that way?

I started this procedure to get around the inability to build a cube due to
permissions errors in Analysis services.

Many thanks for help,

Matt

Not sure we are on the same track. I meant changing the user for the SSP
Service Credentials for inter-server communication under Shared Service
Administration (for SharedServices1). I can see when i profile the SQL and
look at the sharepoint logs it is this user that attempts to access Analysis
server and build the cube. Click on Shared Services Administration and use
Edit properties under the drop down box for the shared service.

I want to try a domain user rather than the service account since all other
tests/fixes have failed to remove the permissions error.

My problem is that when i change to a domain account, the pwa site goes down.

Cheers,

M.
