Changes one one slide - causing changes on other slides

Guys

We have just realised how tricky powerpoint is compared to Word in terms of
formatting! Our heads hurt.

My wife is trying to polish a presentation up - but she is finding that as
she makes changes to one part of the presenation - the formatting changes
elsewhere.

The slide does contain elements that have been pulled together from other
documents - do we need to somehow apply consistent formats to all the
paragraphs in the presentation?

Pretty lousy description of our predicament - but can anyone see what I am
getting at and offer any advice?

Thanks in advamce for any help.

Hi,

It sounds like something is linked, so that changes in one place are
reflected elsewhere. Is there anything under Edit| Links? Else, can you send
a sample?

Thanks for the offer of help. My wife is locked in a room upstairs (she
locked the door - not me!) trying to get something reasonable to e-mail.

I will try to send a copy later today.

In the mean time, do you have time to cast your eye over my posting titled
"Controlling Line Spacing between last 2 lines of a Bullet Point" ?

Thanks in advance.

What kind of changes are you making in one part, and what kind of changes is
that causing elsewhere? That's actually fairly unusual, unless you're making
changes to the slide masters.
