Changinf references

I have a file with 3 sheets in which sheet1 (input sheet) is the mai
sheet and rest of sheets are dependent on it.

I have updated the input sheet at some other place (for understandin
let us call it Sheet1_v2) and now want to replace the old version o
sheet1 (i.e. input sheet) with new version (i.e. with Sheet1_v2).

if i delete the old input sheet and place the new sheet (i.e
Sheet1_v2) and then rename the new sheet (i.e. Sheet1_v2) to "sheet1
(which was the name of old sheet) , the dependent sheets shows invali
references "#REF!".

can this problem be corrected. am using excel 2000.

(i think Links command would not be useful as it works with externa
links only. but anyways i have not used it as yet.)

Hi
try using Edit - Replace on your existing formulas replaicng the sheet
name reference. After this delete the old sheet and rename the new
sheet
