Hi Johnny joe,
As much as possible, the start date of tasks should not be entered
by you, but calculated by Project based upon project start date,
task duration, predecessor relationships, resource calendars.
When you type in a date (either start or finish) for a task, you are
setting a constraint. I suggest double clicking on the task, and
removing the constraint by going to the Advanced tab and setting the
constraint type back to ASAP.
