Changing a template - is there a way to change the font color too?

Hello

I am using PowerPoint 2002 on a Windows XP platform.

I have a presentation. The background is dark, and the
font color of headings is green. When I go
to "format/slide design", I can change the template, as
well as the background color. However, I can't find a
way to change the color of the font of the headings. The
green headings are hard to read on a light background...

Is there a way to change the color of the headings
throughout this document?

It sounds like your "headings" were not typed in a placeholder. Is that
possible? I ask because when you select a new template and apply it to all
slides, the font settings for all text in placeholders will change to whatever
color is set in the template.

If that is the case, you'll need to select the headings and go to Format > Font
and change the color there. This will need to be done for each one. If you
have utilized the placeholders then all you need to do is go to View > Master >
Slide Master and then to Format > Font and change the color. All slides will be
updated in one step and you can confirm this by returning to View > Normal.

Go to View, choose Master, select Slide Master, and change
the color there. Select view, Normal. You should find that
it will change all the slides using that slide template.
