Changing AddIn Load order

Hi everyone,

We are currently having a problem with two addins that are conflicting with each other and are trying to sort the problem out. I have a couple of questions,

Is there any way I can change the order that the Microsoft Outlook Addins load?

and

Are there any tools/utils that could help us work out what the problem is

Cheers

You cannot control the order. Disable one of them to verify that it's
causing a problem. If you have the source code for one of them you can run
in debug mode to see where it starts having problems, if you don't then the
authors would have to work on the problem.

FWIW a well written COM addin should never interfere with any other COM
addin.

You should be able to print attachments for HTML in Memo view. I can do it
here in Outlook 2000, 2002 and 2003. Doesn't the option show up when you
select an item and use File, Print?

That will only work printing to the default system printer however.

Out of curiosity, do you mind mentioning the 2 addins or their vendors here?

Thanks for the help Ken thats great. We have the two vendors talking to
each other now to try and sort the problem.
I have one other question if anyone knows the answer (its not really a dev
question to be honest) but someone probably will.
When you print an HTML format email, it does not print the attachments at
all. When you do RTF or PLAIN it prints out the names.

The option appears as "Print attached files" but even when checked, no file attachments are printed

It is being printed in Memo format

I dont want to name the 2 vendors on a public forum as both are working very hard to work out what the problem is and resolve it. Hope you understand.

Ahh I see what "print attached files" does, it actually prints a word document if attached to the default printer

What we are looking for is to print the email with a list of the files actually attached to the email, rather than the contents

Is that possible?

Only if you create a macro or COM addin that has code to do that. It's not
possible without that.
