Changing case

Anyone know anything about a software called Servant Salamander? It's a
file manager, but mainly it's got a neat little case changer. If all you
need is the case changer, you can download the old version free. Anyone know
whether there are any problems with it? I tried it out and it seems to work
fine.

Not aware of it, but just remember FP will not know of any changes made by any 3rd party software, so at least run a File
Recalculate Hyperlinks on any FP web you use it on

Thanks. That will save me some head-scratching (and maybe saying naughty
words). Actually, I hadn't planned on using it directly in the web but on
stuff that I receive from others, like a group of photos, before I import
it. But you never know...

Why not use IrFanview on the images, you can resize, optimize, and rename
all in one shot before you import. You can create your own naming convention
with a variable while doing this, so your images can be named something
like; partyscene_2005_xxx.jpg and the xxx can be incremental digits. I make
extensive use of the renaming feature to keep hundreds of images in somekind
of logical order.
