changing colors in a template

I'm using a simple (or so it seemed) template to create a program for a
school music event. I'd like to change the colors on the template to our
school colors. Any idea how to change the color scheme?

Which application are you talking about here?

If you are using Publisher, format, Color Schemes, custom color schemes... in earlier
versions, format, color schemes.

Well, I don't think Word actually has color schemes in the same way that,
say, PowerPoint or Publisher do.

You'd have to change the colors of the individual elements (lines and other
drawn graphics, text, etc.) in the template -- and then you'll probably want
to save that as a new template.

For the text, you'll want to create styles (which can include text color,
bullet color, etc.).
