Changing colours using formulae

Hi,

I want to make a colour appear black if it's positive and
red if it's negative, any ideas?

Hi

If you make the whole range the colour you want for your positive values,
you can then go to Format / Conditional Format to set the colour for your
negatives:
Cell Value Is Less Than 0
What happens if the value is zero by the way? You may want to leave the
column white and have 2 CFs, one for positive and one for negative.
