Changing default printing options

I work at for a University computer lab. We end up with a
lot of wasted paper due to PowerPoint jobs that get
printed. Students print out the file as Slides, and then
find out that they printed over their daily allowance.

How do I change the default option of printing as 1 slide
per page, how do i set it up to print 3 Handouts per page?

"Tools", "Options", click the "Print" TAB and click the "Use the following
print settings" and change the dropdown choices to your liking.
