Changing default view when Inserting Picture

I'm using Powerpoint 2002 on WinXP. When I use Insert
Picture From File, the "Insert Picture" window pops up so
you can select a picture. My problem is that the window
always pops up with the Thumbnail view and it's a lot more
convenient for me to use the Details view. How can I
change the default view in the "Insert Picture" window to
Details (or any other view for that matter)?

I know, I hate the thumbnails view, too, and much prefer details.

PPTools Starter Set Plus lets you do this.

That's the only solution I'm aware of.
