changing display

When i open the northwinds sample database and look at the employees
form, the tab control looks very different (color wise) than the tab
control on my page. I was told you cant change the page color.
However the tab page color is most definitly different in mine vs the
sample database. i am guessing one has the xp scheme and the other the
traditional windows. However i am viewing them from the same computer.
What do i need to do to make mine look like the one in the sample
database. I want the look of its tab control as well as its buttons.

You have to enable the use of windows themes for each database. On the Tools
menu, select options, then click on the forms/reports tab of the resulting
dialog box. Make sure the "Use Windows themed controls on forms" checkbox is
ticked.
