Changing field names in a table

T

Tim

I'm upscaling an Access database to SQL, but have to
change a few table field names as I foolishly gave them
names that are reserved words in SQL.

Are changes to table names propogated through the rest of
the database objects?
eg, if I change a field name, are my forms going to throw
an error as the controls have not updated? Will any
macros referencing that field be updated?

TIA
Tim

Recent versions of Access have features that will propagate changes in some
areas, but they are not perfect, and will not find all references to the
fields. I use and can recommend a utility called 'Find and Replace'
(www.rickworld.com). Another popular utility which I have not personally
used but has been recommended by others is SpeedFerret (www.moshannon.com).
