Changing Field Types

Hi,

I'm trying to change the field type of a table from text to numbers using
VBA code...
Any ideas...?? Rgds...Chris

Try executing a DDL query statement, e.g.:

strSql = "ALTER TABLE Table1 ALTER COLUMN Field1 DOUBLE;"
dbEngine(0)(0).Execute strSql, dbFailOnError
