Changing 'File As' option for imported addresses

I am importing 700+ addresses from Excel 2000 into Outlook 2000. I am unable
to import these so that the 'File as' option is set to 'First Last' as
opposed to the default setting 'Last, First'.
I have been able to change the setting for new contacts created using 'New
Contact', but this does not seem to effect the import settings.

You can only change the File As field for existing contacts with code:
