changing file titles in print box?

I created, "Master V1 [version 1] and it prints fine.
Updated to Master V2, then V3, then V4, using "Save As" each time and renaming so I can keep track of changes.

But every version still shows in the lower left title box [after printing]

Master V1

I know that file, master V2, [or V3, etc] is properly open, and the print is perfect.

But I can't get that title box to change.

Shouldn't it change to match the file name by itself?

Try looking in File>Properties. It may be picking up the project title
from there.

What you are referring to should be automatic in project. The sad news is
that it doesn't always behave the way it should. You can find the Project
Title field by going to File | Properties and updating it there each time
you need to print or you can use the Page Setup and establish the filename as
the parameter value that gets printed in the lower left corner when you
print. Again, you will have to do this each time you print (assumption on
this one).

WD, your assumption in this case is not correct. If you set the Title
in the Properties for the file and save the file, it will save that
title. If you do a Save As, then it will have the same Title value as
the original file, so you would have to change it in the new file if
you wanted something different, but it does not revert to some default
value each time you close the file.
