changing forumla results to values on the fly

Is there a way to get a cell's forumla to convert to its resulting value on
the fly (rather than having to go back in and cut>paste special>values)?

Alternatively, is there a way to use a second column that will display the
values returned from the formulas in the first column as hard-codes values?
