Changing horizontal button font

I am trying to modify my theme to change the font and
color of the text of a horizontal button. I cannot seem
to find a style to control the appearance of these buttons.

Format Theme Modify/Customize Colors - Custom colors
- the color of horizontal and vertical nav bars is the same in themes
- and then save as a new theme name
