Changing language in Office XP (Brazil Version)

V

Victor Bailey

I bought Office XP while studying in Brazil for 3 years. I have now moved
back to the US and want to change the default language to English. I am
assuming that this is a localized version of Office because everything is in
Portuguese even the installation program. Is there anyway to change it over
to English?

No, you would need to purchase an English language version, and I don't think anyone still has Office XP but you can always try on online retailer like Amazon.com. No pun intended...

Try doing the following:
go to - start, all programs, microsoft office tools, microsoft office
xp language settings,
then change the "Default version of Microsoft Office" to english US or
whatever your preference is....

If this does not work, try reading an earlier post of mine which may
help by searching on "Outlook default language changes when replying to
e-mails"
Good luck.
