Changing line colors from Excel to Powerpoint

How do I disable Powerpoint's default behavior in changing the line colors
when I copy a graph from Excel to Powerpoint? I can't even change the line
colors in Powerpoint; it seems to only allows me to change the color point by
point, which seems rather ridiculous. I've plotted a scatter graph with 3
lines connecting 3 sets of points. All I want is the colors of the lines to
stay red, green, and blue (their colors changed to white, brown, and red
against a black background, which is *far* from what I really want). I'm
using Office 07 in Vista.

Thanks.

To avoid having to edit after the fact, be sure that the Color Schemes in
both Excel and PowerPoint are the same.

In addition to what Sandy said: Do not choose the colors from the theme
colors, if you use different sets of theme colors in Excel and PowerPoint.
Choose standard colors instead, they will not change.
