My company uses a VPN solution in which the IP address of my POP server
changes from a.b.c.d:e to 127.0.0.1. I have created an Outlook Profile with
two accounts - Work (Local) and Work (Remote) and have changed the mail
servers as necessary for the remote access.
So, I essentially have two account which causes emails I receive at one
location (i.e. remote or at work/local) to be duplicated when I Send/Receive
from the other.
Is there any way around this? I do not necessarily need to use separate
accounts if it is possible to change the servers as noted above. I have
thought about creating a hosts file and running a .BAT file to change the
entry for my mail server depending on whether I am home or at work.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
