Changing name of workbook in header line

I use the New Window command to create multiple views of the same workbook.
Excel inserts a numeric value with the sheet name. I would like to create my
own name for each view. Can I do this?

No.

OTOH, you can use View/Custom Views... to set up different views that
you can name anything you want, but all windows of the same workbook
will have that view.
