Changing office 2003 license

Hello. Im working on a pc for a friend. They bought this pc from
somone else who had installed an "trial verison" of office 2003. So the
eval time is up. He obtained a legit copy of 2003 from his work. I was
wondering if there is a way to change the license without
un/reinstalling? Thanks for your help.

The trial version is just that - a time-bombed version. You'd have to buy
Office anyway so why not just buy it now?

I see where he "obtained a legit copy ...from his work." He
must have permission to use the work license also. There
are certain restrictions on who can use an Enterprise
edition of Office outside of the office area if in fact this
is an Enterprise edition.

Need to check the EULA for the product.
