I'm typing a family history book. Most of it is in portrait, but with the
family trees I want to turn them to print out landscape i.e. the previous
page is portrait and the family tree page is landscape to fit all the info
in. How can I get publisher to print these pages this way? I can easily
do it in Word, but not in Publisher.
Thank you.

You can't. What you can do is:

1. Open the portrait section, create a new blank page where you want the
tree to be located.

2. Start a new pulbication in landscape, create the tree on that page.
Select all, group, copy.

3. Go to portait section, paste in the tree, rotate it 90°.
