Changing privileges

I have a similar problem to an earlier post except I have
a user who was essentially a team member (we have a
custom group called Shop Chiefs) and I want to now make
this person an administrator. I've added him to the
administrator group and updated all of the permissions on
his profile with the admin template (check everything).
So far, the Admin link has not shown up on his PWA
presentation. Any hints?

Duh! I left the user as a part of the Shop Chiefs
group. In that group I used the Deny check boxes. Once
I took him out of that group all admin powers were
granted!

I have to quit answering my own questions!!
