Changing shortcut keys in Word 2007

Hi there,

I have been given a project of updating a number of templates into 2007.

All old shortcut keys are needing to stay the same as in 2000 e.g. ALT+P
would print an fax cover, now if I press ALT+P it takes me into the page
layout ribbon.


Please if someone could kindly let me know what I need to do to change this.

Office button, Word Options, Customization, Customize button.
You should consider seriously though whether you want to override new
keyboard shortcuts used for ribbon navigation or not. If you do override
them, Word will behave differently when not used with the templates you
are working on. In addition, in the not too distant future, users (e.g.
new employees) will have learnt the new shortcuts and will have to
relearn shortcuts once they encounter those templates.
