Changing slide template in Power Point XP

I'm making a Power Point XP pressentation. When I want to apply a new slide
template, it changes all presentation. Is possible to change the slide
template for one slide into the presentation?

Yes. The multiple masters page on my site (URL's in signature) has info
on how to do this.
