Changing Start/Finish Dates on Task in Web Access

I am desperately trying to figure out how to change the
start and finish dates on tasks when updating using Web
Access. Is there a way to do it or is it disabled.

Thanks.

If you are using either the % Work Complete or Actual Work and Remaining
Work method for tracking project progress, then you will need to "push" the
Actual Start and Actual Finish fields to your team members' timesheets in
PWA. Once you have done this, each team member will be able to enter the
date when their work actually begins and when it ends, and this will
ultimately impact the Start and Finish dates of the task. Here's how to do
it:

1. Open the project in question
2. Click Tools - Customize - Published Fields...
3. From the list on the left, select the Actual Start and Actual Finish
fields you want and copy them to the list on the right
4. For each field you select, make sure you have selected the "Let resource
change field" option
5. Click the OK button
6. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments and click OK
7. Repeat these steps for every project which is already published in which
you want to use this method of tracking

The next time that your team members log into PWA, they will find the two
new fields on the far right side of the task list (located to the left of
the vertical split bar) on their View My Tasks page. These columns can be
moved to a new (and perhaps easier to use) location by each user by clicking
and holding the black column header at the top of the column, and then
dragging it to the new location.

If you are using the timesheet method for tracking progress, where people
enter their Actual Work hours each day on the day the work was performed,
then each team member is indirectly determining the Actual Start and Actual
Finish dates of the task. Hope this helps.

Hope this helps.
