CHANGING TEXT ALIGNMENT LEAVES GAPS

Hi,

I have to sometimes copy text from other sources into Publisher that are
left aligned. When I select 'justify' some individual words or words become
spread across a line with big gaps between letters. I thought it was due to
spacing, but even when I remove spacing it happens. How do I troubleshoot
this?

Turn on special characters(¶), you probably have a soft return (shift+return) or
a needless tab. Also look at the paragraph line spacing in the Format menu.
