Changing the measurement units in Picture Manager to centimetres

Does anyone know if you can change the measurement units from pixels to
something more useful like centimetres or inches?

For Word, Tools | Options | General and choose the measurement unit from the
drop down list. Is this what you want to do?

It's want I want to do but I want to do it in Microsoft Picture Manager; your
suggestion does not work in that package!

The "inch" or "centimeter" is an arbitrary dimension as far as Picture
Manager is concerned, ONLY pixels is a useful measurement of image
properties.
