Changing the notification person.

Hello Everyone,

I am setting up projects in my company and publishing
them to the server. I am changing the owner, however when
a resource does an update I still get the e-mail. How can
i set the project so the the notification go to the
project owner? Thanks a million.

Ask the new owner of the project to do the following:

1. Open the project in question
2. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments
3. Select the "Become the manager for these assignments" option
4. Click OK

Each time you create a project that someone else will manage, you will need
to change the Owner to that person, and then ask the person to follow the
above steps. Hope this helps.

I have a same problem. I was perform described steps, but have no result
in PWA in Project properties owner of project changed to new project manager, but when the resources opens their task list in PWA, the old project manager displayed in Project magaer field and e-mail notifications from resources sent to old project manager. Any ideas?

I've seen the task owner not change on republish when
there are actuals against the task in question, but task
is not complete.

This might be something to investigate.
